Meidcations that should NOT be crushed

If a liquid formulation of a medication is not available, it is sometimes desirable to crush a medication for a patient who is experiencing difficulty swallowing tablets/capsules or has a nasogastric tube placed. However, crushing the tablet/capsule may be an unsafe practice due to the formulation or properties of some medications. My husband’s Neurosarcoidosis symptoms. Can you tell me yours?

Since 2007 my husband started to experience a series of symptoms which have worsened during the year 2008. Currently, he is 53 yrs. old. I would like to know if other patients with neurosarcoidosis has experience the following:
* Facial palsy in one side.
* Blurry vision, double vision, and dry and sore eyes.
* Slurred speech, impaired swallowing, hoarseness (Gastro-Intestinal tube placement).
* Vertigo, dizzines and drowsiness.

An Excellent Combination

I had RP surgery in October of 2010; full right nerves spared and partial left nerves spared. Stopped wearing pads after 6 weeks and only experience minor leakage incidents on occasion. Was put on Cialis immediately after catheter removal. After 2 months of taking the medication, I wasn’t experiencing meaningful erections (I do realize it’s still early).

Erection issue

I don’t know if this is related with my diabetes but lately I’m having problems getting an erection. I’m yet to talk to my doctor about it. I’m only 42 so I’m worried that this erectile dysfunction might last forever. Help?

Penile Rehab

Is penile rehab necessary during hormone therapy and ERBT? Our dr. has not mentioned this.

I got in the mail today a booklet that addresses post-op matters concerning what some men experience after lung surgery.

There are a few things there I know of but one thing caught my eye and that was, it suggested that some men will experience “Erectile Dysfunction” and if you do, contact your team as they can help.
