My husband’s Neurosarcoidosis symptoms. Can you tell me yours?
Since 2007 my husband started to experience a series of symptoms which have worsened during the year 2008. Currently, he is 53 yrs. old. I would like to know if other patients with neurosarcoidosis has experience the following:
* Facial palsy in one side.
* Blurry vision, double vision, and dry and sore eyes.
* Slurred speech, impaired swallowing, hoarseness (Gastro-Intestinal tube placement).
* Vertigo, dizzines and drowsiness.
* Tongue deviation and atrophy.
* Tingling, numbness on extremities.
* Generalized weakness, leading to immobility and joint stiffness.
* Changes in appetite.
* Changes in sleep cycle (somnolence; insomnia).
* Impaired temperature regulation (hyperthermia, hypothermia).
* Generalized and constant fatigue.
* Headaches.
* Head, face and eyes swelling.
* Muscle soreness.
* Polydipsia (excessive thirst).
* Urinary incontinence.
* Bowel incontinence.
* Unable to dress himself.
* Unable to write.
* Unable to walk.
* Depression
* Short-term memory loss.
* Anxiety.
* Focal seizures.
* Swelling legs.
* Irregular diabetes (although he is monitored constantly).
* Acute bipolar disorder
Although he is going through all this, sometimes they thing there is no real problem. The MDs still unable to give the proper treatment to my husband. As you can imagine, frustration against thehealthcare system is part of our daily life.
