THE DAY AFTER THE WEEKEND RESEARCH

It’s the day after the weekend research and my mind is spinning in every direction imaginable, yet thanks to this site, the fog is clearing and i am able to start to see things a whole lot clearer then before.

I’ve already made decisions and ruled out Foamex and gang - nope not for me.

I have also determined that i am my own cause of this condition as after i had my hysterectomy i did not follow the “take the calcium required” by my dr and in fact when i saw a physical therapist a few years ago about a back injury, she had eluded to a hump beginning and gave me exercises to do to strengthen the muscle yet once again i did not pay attention to either the inner or outer voices or what my body was telling me.

Is it too late? Nope its never to late. I may not get the results i want but at least i am trying.

My form of action/interaction? To learn all i can here that is doable and works it into my lifestyle. After all if it becomes drull i wont’ do it will i?

Read the 3 books I’ve ordered and see if there is a correlation between the 3 of them and the osteoporosis and treatment.

Find a natural supplement that i can take that will aid this and not harm another part of my body.

Adjust my diet to allow for the body to heal itself by reviewing the alkaline vs acidic diet regime to see where i can improve there. Restrict my amount of red meats and prepare more non red meats…

Be realistic about my goals and actions from here on out and to stay away from snake oil salesmen on the internet - sheshhh everyone wants in my pocketbook but there’s only enough room for “my” fingers …

Yup i have my work cut out for me as well as work a full time job, run a few teams on another site to help keep my spark friends healthy and make sure kartmin the kat gets his food and water and attention…. Opps just ran his tail over with the chair, poor thing… Lol my bad.

I will be spending the week reading the books i have ordered from the library, walk tall, stand tall, and the vitamin d cure.

I will make a dr ’s appointment when i feel it is necessary to discuss this with him. This will be a big hurdle as he tends to poohoo any natural approach to health care… Oddly enough…

The ED Shot

Hello all- We just wanted th share this wonderful news with you all. My husband had no results with any any of the oral medications after his radical prostectomy, so we tried the alprostadil injection into the penis. Sounds horrible, be he says it just stings a bit, and it works 100% of the time. We just have to be careful that we don't administer

Loss of Emotion

My husband and I have been married for 25 years. He had robotic prostate surgery 19 months ago. As well as not being able to have intercourse, he seems to have lost any emotion abut it. We tried injections twice (both at my initiation) and they did not work. He acts like he has absolutely no desire. We do not cuddle, kiss, or even lay close to each

YEP. You have your work cut out for you. Don’t forget to test your vitamin D level and all those other little (hundreds of) tests all of us are suggesting. Remember, you’re in charge of your life. Read, enjoy, hug the cat, and do all the good things you can think of.

HI MILLIE, ODDLY ENOUGH I WAS PUTTING THAT ON THE HIGH PART OF MY TO DO LIST - I DONT USUALLY WORK ONE BUT WILL WITH THIS. IF HE POOHOOS IT THERE ARE OTHER CLINICS I CAN GO TO WHERE THE DR WILL OBLIGE ME. ALTHOUGH MY DR KNOWS ME WELL ENOUGH TO KNOW I WON’T JUST TAKE ANY OLD THING PRESCRIBED…

Well, just to throw another wrench into your research… I ran across another machine on another forum. It’s called a BEMER3000. Uses electro-magnetic pulses or something. There are a couple of doctors from Europe recommending the use of it. You can read what they have to say at the forum at http://www.dailystrength.org . Or you can visit a couple of websites. http://www.bemeramerica.com/bemer3000girls. or http://www.afb-us.com. afb stands for Academy for Bioenergetic Medicine. Another product manager for Curatronic Ltd. supposedly sells osteoporosis therapy with pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF). Their website is http://www.curatronic.com. More reading at http://www.pemft.com. I really haven’t looked into this, and it may be just more snake oil.

Everytime I look at the television, I understand what a huge epidemic of osteoporosis is occuring in the world today. It ranks right up there with such primary health concerns as erectile dysfunction! (Obviously, that’s at least one problem I don’t have :)
